The executive management of QSL Gas and Power Limited (QSL-GP) has been reorganised to bring about more productivity and efficiency.

This was done after a detailed scheduled review of the company’s operational and financing objectives as directed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As part of the restructuring, Mr. Olakunle Olalekan Williams, the erstwhile Chief Executive Officer of QSL Gas and Power Limited, has departed the company.

Ms Angela Odiase, Executive Chairman QSL-GP, will act as interim CEO.

Ms Angela Odiase, as the founder of the QSL Group, brings over 20 years of Oil and Gas experience to this position.

Prior to forming QSL Gas and Power, she worked in various leadership and consultancy capacities with the Shell Nigeria Group and Phillips Project Centre.

Furthermore, Mr Felix Aremo, formerly Chief Financial Officer of QSL Gas and Power Limited, has also departed the Company and the QSL-GP corporate and finance department has undergone substantial restructuring to better meet the requirements and standards of the organisation.

The Chief Executive and Executive Chairman of QSL-GP Group, Ms Angela Odiase stated that, “the organisation had undertaken the exercise, driven by the necessity to realign its considerable interests across the gas and power sector and to better ensure the Company’s collective productivity is demonstrated visibly in profitable outcomes for the ultimate benefit of its stakeholders”

Ms Odiase further observed that “… the uniqueness of the Group demands that an infusion of important schemes are given the necessary momentum by recognising as well as empowering key positions within the Group and realigning its considerable person – customers capacity to fit operational demands.”
