QSL Gas and Power Limited (QSL-GP) is a natural gas distribution and marketing company with a strong customer focus and a dedicated commitment to clean, eco-friendly, cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for power generation and industrial development.
We create value across the Nigerian gas and power value chain: captive power supply, direct gas utilisation, compressed natural gas for natural gas vehicles, and embedded and grid power generation. Our purpose, in the words of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021, is to develop, operate and maintain an economical gas distribution network for the safe and reliable conveyance of natural gas.

Our story
Six years of building Edo State's gas network.
We were developing and operating gas projects in Edo State before the Petroleum Industry Act reshaped the sector, and we have kept building since.
- 2019
The QSL Group takes shape
QSL begins operating in Edo State, and the group's engineering, CNG, upstream and gas sourcing companies are incorporated.
- 2021
Ahead of the PIA
Already supplying gas to industry when the Petroleum Industry Act 2021 set the framework for Nigeria's gas market.
- 2024
10 km of pipeline
Our Edo State pipeline network reaches about 10 km, with a mandate, in partnership with NGML, to build and distribute in Ondo, Edo and Delta States.
- 2025
Industrial-scale projects
Design, build and operate gas infrastructure for an industrial area in Edo State, sized for 50 to 70 MMSCFD.
Regulatory standing
Licensed to move gas.
We operate under Nigeria's Petroleum Industry Act 2021 and are regulated by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
Gas Shipper Licence
QSL holds an NMDPRA Gas Shipper Licence, authorising us to ship natural gas to our customers.
Gas Distribution Licence
We have applied for a Gas Distribution Licence, backed by real industrial demand and our existing customer base.
